How a small decision can turn your life around

Have you wondered why you never changed? How everything you wanted to achieve in life seems very distant and unreachable?

If you answered "yes" above, then the simplest reason is because you enjoy your comfort zone. All you need to do is just to make that small decision, believing in yourself regardless of whether you going to loose your job or not, your friends or even your family.

Let me share my story with you:

At some stage in my life, as a business management student, I remember one day when we were writing our final exams, I decided to give it my all, study hard because I wanted to study hard, and the day came, we were writing accounting final paper, and I remember walking out of the examination centre with a smile, and I met my then accounting lecturer as I stored out of the hall, he called me with a "you must be joking" face, as I got close to him, he said, Mr Leraisa you can not tell me that you are done, because Mr. So and so (not to mention the names) and Me so and so are still in there, and I was thinking that the should be the ones coming out first. And this time I realised that this guy never believed in me, I gave this my all and he yet telling me about other people, meaning he sees me as dump person and those he called out as the smart of the smart. That really touched me, and I couldn't wait to see the results. And now I must tell you, only two of those people he called by name saying they were the ones he was expecting, passed the remaining four failed, and I am the only one who managed to score employment and founded companies. If only I did not decide to take an action based on my small decision to give it my all, he was going to be justified.

And today I am a proud director, CEO and Co-founder of three businesses, because I made a promise to myself to never allow anyone to look down on me, I remember visiting one of the wealthy persons in my Township to request for his assistance in carrying out my new venture in cleaning, and he said to me "did you know that you are not the first person to want to operate in this industry and this market? And those who tried before you have failed, so you better look for another business type because you are going to fail, or totally stay out of business", that negative message got in to me, and I decided not to listen to anyone again, because the i took what I was told and saw myself as a person who wnt even make it in the business world.

But today my life changed because of the little decision I took, to move out of my comfort zone and change my life for good.

Make a decision today, or you will forever consider your goals unreachable. And risk what you have for what you will become.
